A New Biogeographic Process for Natura 2000 Areas
Aspen International was recently part of a successful bid, led by ECNC, to manage the EU biogeographical seminar process on behalf of DG Environment for the next three years. The European Commission initiated a new programme of seminars to help Member States develop effective measures to achieve favourable conservation status for species and habitats that are under threat in EU27 countries. This is a collaborative project that seeks to bring together national statutory bodies, experts and other representatives from relevant Member States so that experiences of common problems can shared and sustainable management solutions developed.
